Our coach leaves Osu at 05:00 on Saturday for the three-hour drive west. We walk the canopy — seven bridges, forty metres up — before the tour groups arrive, then trek the forest floor with a park guide.
Saturday night is spent in a beach lodge near Elmina. Sunday is slow: a sea swim, a visit to the castle for those who want it, and back in Accra by evening.
