The Active Accra Youth Fund takes ten per cent of every race entry — and every cedi from Run for Jamestown — and puts it into coaching, kit and school sport where access is hardest.

School Running Programme

Weekly coaching in six primary and JHS schools in Jamestown, Ussher Town and Nima. Relays, timed miles, and a termly inter-school meet.

Kit Library

Running shoes and kit donated by members and partners, cleaned, sized and distributed through our partner schools.

120 new swimmers

Learn to Swim — Youth

A summer programme teaching water safety and swimming to children from coastal communities, run by our swim coaches.

Ways to support

Run for Jamestown

Our charity 5K through Old Accra on 21 November. Every entry fee goes to the fund.

Donate kit

Running shoes in good condition, sizes 32–42. Drop them at the Clubhouse in Osu any day.

Fund a school

GHS 50,000 funds a school's coaching programme for a full year, with termly reporting.
